FROM THE PRESIDENT On behalf of the GAPA Board of Director's, I would like to welcome you to the new and improved GAPA Website. This is the premier place to find all current information about the PA profession in the state of Georgia and is your gateway to communicating with Board of Director members, Committee Chairs and your Regional Contact Liaison. The web site has information and links to GA legislative issues that affect PAs, reimbursement updates and the GAPA Reimbursement Manual (for GAPA members only), GA PA laws, regional contacts and local meetings, information on the annual GAPA CME Convention. In addition, there are now online forms that you may use to join GAPA, renew your annual membership, and volunteer some of your time for one of GAPA's many committees. Our newest addition to this website is the online membership database and the job opportunities page. You must be a member of GAPA to access these features, though the jobs listed will go over to the general area of the web site after a certain length of time on the Member's Only Section. The best way for you to support your profession is to join GAPA today. We are the only organization promoting the PA profession in Georgia. Visit the web site often, as there will be frequent updates to the pages as new information is available for all aspects of our profession.
